| Approaching the split on {202} west, aka [4] south, aka [117] north.
| The junction and its signage.
Note the [SOUTH] plate above the {202}.
[4] is the actual N/S route here, and doesn't receive a directional banner of its own.
{202} & [4] run together for 56 miles from Alfred to Auburn - but they're not even obviously associated together here.
The route runs overall more E/W here - and actually slightly more to the north than south.
| Continuing past the split, the routes are back to being signed with their proper directions.
| Facing south on [117] as it joins {202}/[4].
| First northbound signage on [117] as it leaves the triplex.
| Looking back east just after the junction into the triplex, at the first wrong-way signage.
| LEFT: Pulling back a bit to view the junction & its signage.
RIGHT: I saw a good amount of truck traffic here.
| Approaching the junction from the north on Salmon Falls Rd in Buxton.
Salmon Falls Rd does not carry any state highway.
| A closer view of the intersection.
| Turning 180° to face north on Salmon Falls Rd.
| Backing up to the other side of {202}/[4]:
Facing north on Joy Valley Rd as [117] as joins {202}/[4].
| A concrete marker in the NE quadrant.
...What for?
| Looking west into the `plex.
Ack, what's with all the overlapping plates on the sign assemblies?
| LEFT: A close-up of the Buxton/Hollis town line.
Dig that custom font on the road sign.
RIGHT: A fuller view of the Saco River, town line and 1948 bridge.
There's a site of an older crossing just downstream, which I wasn't aware of when out shooting.

| Looking east at the end of the `plex. Taking a right here on [117] is the best route for cars to (95) south...
My guess is [112] is signed for such for the benefit of truck traffic.
For (95) north, the best route is Portland Rd & [22], but I have no idea how it's signed at the [112] junction.
The red car represents [117] northbound thru traffic... t0ot!
