Standing on the tip of US 1's median. The NORTH 88 marker (which would arguably be more accurate with an up arrow) guides traffic leaving US 1 south via the channel in the previous photo, which stops before crossing US 1 north. Traffic from the end of SR 88 continuing south yields to whatever traffic is exiting US 1 south, merging into US 1 south in the right background. Click for an alternate angle.
